Terms of Use
Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2026
Welcome to OpenPlay. Use of the app is subject to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. Using the app constitutes your agreement to them.
What the service does
OpenPlay is a tool for organizing amateur sports games: creating games, sign-ups, a waitlist, notifications, team splitting and duty rotations. We do not organize the games ourselves, do not operate courts and are not responsible for them.
Account
The service is intended for ages 16 and up. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provided and for the use of your account. Impersonating another person is prohibited.
Participating in games and health
Sports involve a risk of injury. Participation in games is at your own risk only, and you must make sure your health allows physical activity. OpenPlay and its owners are not liable for bodily injury, property damage, loss or any incident that occurs during a game, at the court or on the way to them.
Organizers
A group organizer is responsible for the games they create: choosing the court, obtaining permits if required, safety, dealing with players and money. An organizer may add, remove, move to the bench or block players from their group.
Payments
The app does not collect or transfer money. The "paid" mark is only a tracking tool for the organizer. Any payment is between the player and the organizer, and OpenPlay is not a party to it.
Courts
Court information is based on public databases and user reports, and may be inaccurate or out of date. A "taken" mark refers only to games created in the app and is not a booking of the court.
Conduct
It is prohibited to post offensive, misleading or illegal content, harass players, create fake accounts or attempt to harm the service. Ratings and the "clown" are meant for fun and balance, not to hurt anyone. We may suspend or delete an account that violates these terms.
Availability and liability
The service is provided "AS IS", without any commitment to continuous availability, timely delivery of every notification or accuracy of information. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited, and we will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Changes
We may update the service and these terms. We will announce material changes in the app.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel have exclusive jurisdiction.
