Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 2026
We want OpenPlay to be comfortable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We work to make the app accessible in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA.
What we have done
- Full support for Hebrew and right-to-left direction.
- Mobile-friendly design, with large, easy-to-tap buttons.
- High color contrast. The color scheme changes with the time of day (light by day, dark at night).
- You can enlarge text in your browser or device settings without breaking the layout.
- Text labels on icon buttons (e.g. "Back", "Clear") for screen readers.
- Information is not conveyed by color alone: states are also marked with text or a symbol (✓, "Pending", "Taken").
- Short animations. If you enabled "Reduce motion" on your device, you will get less motion.
What is not perfect yet
The app is in active development. Some components may not yet be fully accessible, for example some pop-up dialogs with keyboard navigation, star-rating selection with a screen reader, and images missing a description. We keep improving.
